welcome to the 2009 evergreen state fair!
yesterday was a pretty awesome day! eric, ryan, the kids and i headed to monroe, wa for the evergreen state fair! woo fair!
the fair was actually a pleasant surprise. i was expecting it be to a hokey little fair, but no, this was a pretty large event. there were tons of rides, even a michael jackson ride, although i’m not sure what actually happened on the ride, and there was a ride there from neverland ranch. pretty cool! of course there was food of the fried variety and lemonade. oh and don’t forget the kettle corn!
viri and arkaedi seemed to enjoy the fair, but little viri’s legs gave out on him at the end of our excursion so i carried the boy. as we were getting ready to leave the fair we walked through one of the horse stables. viri said…”i don’t want to see any more horses!” maybe they were too boring for him. but as we got closer to the horses he said…”i see them. i see theirs butts!” butts are funny.
eric and ryan wrote about the day too! check out their blogs.
eric was also kind enough to post the link to the photo album from yesterday! check out our photos! some of the captions are hilarious!
woo fair! next week is the puyallup fair!
